A Quiet Place II is being screened for critics everywhere (unless you live in Kentucky like us) and the reviews are up to a 90% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes as of this writing. The communal controllers of movie fate and their magical talking robot came up with the “Consensus” that “A nerve-wracking continuation of its predecessor, A Quiet Place Part II expands the terrifying world of the franchise without losing track of its heart. “
Could you imagine a regular dude just saying that? “Hey, Thomas. We’re thinking of going to the movies tonight. Didn’t you see A Quiet Place II? Should we check it out?”
“Why yes, Gregory I did. It’s a nerve-wracking continuation of its predecessor and expands the terrifying world of the franchise without losing track of its heart. “
Gee, thanks Patrick Bateman.
Anyways, the reviews all say the movie is great and expertly crafted and all that jazz. But a noticeable trend exists in these little delights that all goes back to the ending. It would appear that A Quiet Place II does a little too much setting everything up to happen in the next movie.
Apparently the film feels one act short of greatness and that act belongs to A Quiet Place part III. A problem many people feared would happen to this October’s Halloween Kills due to it being the meat in a trilogy sandwich. Am I supposed to be both hungry and turned on right now?
None the less, you can check out all the reviews for yourself here. Personally, I never let these reviews color my desire to see a new film but it’s nice to know people are enjoying it. What do you think your rating for it will be when it’s all said and done? Comment below! Oh and as a thank you for not making a bunch of “quiet” puns like a complete ass clown, you should watch our review of the first A Quiet Place below!
