Halloween Kills has no doubt been waiting, breathing, stalking and being extremely goddamn patient when it comes to news ever since the trailer release and postponement announcement last year. However, thanks to an exclusive from TotalFilm.com we finally have something new to talk about.
Check out the image below of Michael either pre or post carnage, wondering where the elevator is because his legs are tired.
Loving those blue lights in the background and thankful that the full mask reveal is still in our future thanks to some awesome shadow work. Michael looks like your dad when you get home from school on report card day.
There’s also some new words from Director David Gordon Green, thanks to Total Film. He says Halloween Kills is:
“about the creation of fear. It’s one thing to be afraid of the Boogey Man….to have someone who might be in the closet, under the bed, creeping around your house…but we wanted to explore next was confusion, misinformation, and paranoia. What happens when fear goes viral? You can’t just stick your head under the covers any more. ,When we made the last one we wanted to find a way for someone who’s never seen the original to get up to speed with the story but this one gets right to the action. It’s very aggressive. It’s more efficient. We wanted it to be an explosive middle before things get streamlined and personal again.”
Oh, so it’s everything The Last Jedi was SUPPOSED to be in a follow up to The Force Awakens. Got it. Excited. Myers better not be drinking any green titt milk though.
So far everything we’re hearing about Halloween Kills from the news to people who were at the infamous test screenings…..Halloween Kills is not only action packed and full throttled slasher goodness but it’s also surprisingly emotional.
