Clive Barker's BOOKS OF BLOOD Anthology Film Coming to Hulu This October

Hulu is bringing BOOKS OF BLOOD to their streaming service on October 7th. The film will be an anthology film based on Hellraiser creator Clive Barker's stories BOOKS OF BLOOD if you can believe that stretch.

The film will be directed by Brannon Braga who wrote a shit load of STAR TREK stuff back in the day, but hasn't directed much beyond episodes of shows like SALEM and THE ORVILLE so this will be fun for him I imagine. It doesn't look like Clive Barker himself has much to do with the series other than being the writer of the original characters.

Seth Macfarlane of FAMILY GUY I guess got a wild goth hair up his ass and decided to be an Executive Producer, which is interesting. According to Bloody Disgusting the synopsis for BOOKS OF BLOOD is as follows:

“Written by Braga and Adam Simon (Salem) based on a short story by Barker with contributing original material, Books of Blood takes a journey into uncharted and forbidden territory through three tales tangled in space and time.”

You can check out the full poster below where a mans face becomes a book. If you want to know how he's feeling about this, you'll have to read between the lines.

It's okay, I'm a dad.
