Here's Everything That Dropped On Netflix This Weekend!

February is upon us! You know, you would think Netflix would be stepping up their game considering everybody and their Mom is starting a streaming service these days. Not so much, Steven. There just aren't that many movies on the streaming service anymore. At least that's what it feels like.

Sure, original content is great and everything but I miss the days of feeling like there was an endless sea of random ass movies I'd forgotten about to stick my paddle in and push back and forth. What the fuck was that sentence.

I'm going to awkwardly walk away now.

Here's everything coming out this weekend on Netflix including some WWAM recommendations and thoughts. Enjoy. I'm going to go rub soap on my brain and pray three hail marys to the spirit of Doug Flutie.

Feb. 1

A Bad Moms Christmas

A Little Princess

Back to the Future Part III - Netflix, why the hell would you do this? You only put up the bad one? You're worse than that guy who stole Michael Caine's "Precious Stones" in 'The Dark Knight'. I smite thee.

Blade Runner: The Final Cut - Is it great? Yes. If you have any interest in watching it do you probably already own it already? Yes.

Center Stage

Cookie’s Fortune

Dear John

The Dirty Dozen & Dirty Harry - I want to watch these films but I know there's more in the collection that aren't on AND I CAN'T STOP ONCE I START. IT STINGS, HARRY.

Driving Miss Daisy

Elizabeth: The Golden Age

Fools Rush In

Love Jacked

The Notebook

The Other Guys

If you enjoy either of the 'Daddy's Home' films which, are corny but also sort of touching in that Bob Saget 'Full House' kind of way? Only mixed between sweet Bob Saget and the filthy mouthed super weird Bob Saget? Then you should absolutely check this one out. I don't know why 'The Other Guys' doesn't get at least a bit more credit than it does.

The Pianist

Police Academy

Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment

Police Academy 3: Back in Training

Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol

Police Academy 5: Assignment: Miami Beach

Police Academy 6: City Under Siege

Police Academy 7: Mission to Moscow

The amount of comfort I get from a complete collection from beginning to end is downright embarrassing. I might even be sexually aroused right now. This complete collection being available means that should you choose to, you can take a few days out of your life and become a complete expert in the franchise that is 'Police Academy' for free. Maybe you become a superfan. Meet other superfans. Get married. Start a podcast. Whatever. That's the motherfuckin internet Mahoney. I'm half serious.

Purple Rain

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves

I imagine there's a large group of people in our demographic who have never taken in this Kevin Costner classic. Do it. Or I'll cut your heart out with a bloody spoon! Alan Rickman playing yet another classic villain role, Christian Slater being a little shit and Kevin Costner looking impossibly handsome and saving the day. I was so into this movie as I kid I bought the toys for it and I'm pretty sure they only sold them at Walden bookstores. Which means I was a fucking NERD and that's okay. We'll definitely be covering this one day on Revenge of the Action movie in great detail, my lords.

Scary Movie 2

Sex and the City 2

Here's some stuff that wasn't on the list, I've noticed they've also dropped.

A Nightmare on Elm Street (Remake)

*Stuck up Crystal Lake counselor voice* I'm going to give it straight to you about remake Freddy. This movie is balls.

But there are reasons to watch it and enjoy it. For one, Jackie Earle Haley does a nice job filling in for Robert Englund. It's not his fault they over CGI burned his face making him look like someone cooked a cat inside of an apple pie crust that was then face fucked by Jason Biggs.

There are also some cool concepts in the film such as the introduction of micro naps and the start of the movie is entertaining as well.

I'm not fooling anyone, this is a bad film but sometimes I like to watch it so that counts for something right? Here's our full review:

Get Him to the Greek

I'm not sure why this film and 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' aren't more beloved but in my house they are some of the best comedies of the past ten years or so. Yeah, I know comedy has sucked the past ten years or so. Nonetheless I find the songs and banter fuckin' hilarious. Give it a chance if you never have!

Steve Jobs

Michael Fassbender's amaze-balls acting brings some understanding into Steve Jobs wacky psyche and workaholic tendencies. How could I tell he's a workaholic? Well, the stain on the front his pants. FAR TOO BUSY FOR THE FOLLOW UP JIGGLE!

Here's everything dropping the rest of the month on Netflix! Enjoy!
