Sylvester Stallone Shares Image, Excitement For 2020's 'Samaritan'

Fresh off the critically maligned 'Rambo: Last Blood' (It's in my top 15 of the year), Sylvester Stallone's next project sounds like it could be taylor made for one of the greatest action stars, dramatic actors and writers of our time (Not ashamed at all of kissing this much ass. This is Stallone ass, people.)

'Samaritan', is set to come out in 2020 and be directed by 'Overlord' (Top 5 of last year) director Julius Avery.

Stallone today tweeted out this image from the film with the tagline "Looking forward to this! @MGM_Studios releasing in December 2020. #Balboa #SamaritanMovie #balboaproductions"

Not a lot to go off of in the picture itself, which I assume was literally taken during the 'Last Blood' shoot considering the movie doesn't release until December 2020, but the magic lies in the synopsis. As the picture says, 'Samaritan' is:

"About a boy searching to see if an old, mythic superhero is still alive after he vanished 20 years earlier following a tragic event".

Stallone has always been the guy who can look like a God but still come off as an underdog because of his underrated acting ability. Which makes a movie about a broken down superhero who sounds like he has some serious issues a possibly perfect role. With a capable director to boot. Count me in! Even if it is written by the same dude who wrote 'Escape Room' and 'Season of the Witch'.

What do you think a guy who wrote a few bad movies can't start some shit?
