The Trailer For Kevin Smith's New Horror Comedy KILROY WAS HERE is uh...here
As a self professed Kevin Smith movie fan, I have loved almost everything the guy has done. Almost.
In my opinion, two of his most underappreciated films both belong in the horror category. Tusk was totally fucked up and hilarious with Justin Long and Red State was a cool ass spin on religious cults that had the great John Goodman in front of the camera. His newest film, Kilroy Was Here now has a trailer. A trailer which I will gladly show you now.
You know what? I'm just going to say it. That looked wacky as shit and a little under budgeted.
That being said, it is an anthology which would explain the pulse of the trailer being all over the place. The cast looks like a fun hodge podge of Kevin Smith characters from his daughter Harley Quinn to Chris Jericho, Jason Mewes and Ralph Garman. I'm hoping Justin Long makes an appearance. There's definitely some Hatchet vibes going on here as well. Overall, I'm excited for the super gore fest mixed in with the comedic stupidity of Kevin Smith. I mean that as a compliment.
