The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It will indeed be rated R.

Thank Christ, because I know we’re all sick of arguing about whether or not horror movies need to be rated R. It’s just more exciting when they are. If I know a movie isn’t going too far in 2021 to scare sixty three year old mother of three MPAA Employee Barbara; Tired off her third day of Keto? Then I can’t help but doubt it’s effectiveness on me.

None the less, the movie will be rated R based on “terror, violence and some disturbing images”.

The Conjuring 3 according to IMDB is: A chilling story of terror, murder and unknown evil that shocked even experienced real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. One of the most sensational cases from their files, it starts with a fight for the soul of a young boy, then takes them beyond anything they’d ever seen before, to mark the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defense.
